The Hair Shoppe & Spa first opened in 1979. I am proud to say that we are approaching 30 years of business in North Canton. In order to accommodate the growing demand for Salon & Spa services, we have made three major additions over the years. The first came in 1986 when we moved from our plaza on Whipple Ave. to our current location. The original Log Cabin was moved from Louisville, OH to create an inviting ambiance for all those who visited our salon. Unfortunately some of the original logs were damaged in storage and we had to have replications made from a company in Tennessee. The only remaining original pieces from the Log Cabin are the beams in the ceiling.

After another surge of growth in the community, I felt the area was in need of Spa services. In 1988 we took the next leap and became Stark County's first combination Salon & Spa. We began to offer manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages. In 1999 our commitment to beautifying North Canton was grounded in the addition of our 6,600 square foot brick building. The building stands today an impressive 10,000 square feet and is one of the largest Salon & Spa combinations in Northeastern Ohio which features a steam room and sauna.

Our success has always been founded in our extremely talented and professional staff. It has been our pleasure to have serviced the North Canton and surrounding community the past 30 years. We pride ourselves on our distinction as one of the top spas in Northeastern Ohio and we are committed to offering the highest quality products and services available in the region for many more years to come.
