To maximize your potential, our staff will take into consideration the shape of your face, features, complexion, eye color, hair density (fine, medium or coarse) and texture (straight, wavy or curly). All these contribute in determining which hairstyle is best for you. We invite you look though our collection of hairstyling books located in our waiting room. You are also welcome to bring in pictures of hairstyles from magazines, snap shots, or other various media.

Indoor Tanning
Layered edge offers tanning packages for seasonal as well as year round tanners. We also carry a supply of tanning accelerators, optimizers, lotions and moisturizers to help maximize the life of your tan. Tanning Tip: It's best to apply indoor tanning lotion immediately prior to your session or 1-2 hours prior is even better if you can. For your convenience, tanning appointments are available and recommended. However, you are more than welcome to drop by when it is convenient.
Wigs and Hair Pieces
Whether alternative hair is of a necessity or just for fashion and fun, The Layered Edge can create the look you want. We use and recommend Revlon and Tressallure hair pieces and wigs. We have various styles in stock, but can also special order to meet our clients specific needs and preferences. For the comfort of our clients, all consultations and fittings are performed in a private area.
