I opened Creative Cuts in Brunswick, Ohio in
February 1985. At that time it was located in a
small strip shop located on Manhatten Circle.
There were four employees, two of the original
girls are still with me. We bought a house and
converted it into my beauty shop and then moved
from our previous location in April 1988. In
February 2001, by then approximately 20 girls
were employed with me, I purchased the property
next door to my beauty shop. The house on this
property was torn down to make room for the now
existing building. After we moved into the new
building in January 2002, we tore down the old
beauty shop to make way for an expansion of my
parking lot.

When I bought my first house, that we gutted and
made into my shop, the houses on the street were
just starting to be turned into businesses and zoned
commercial. Now most of the houses on the street
are being sold commercial and either being rented
out or being tore down for new commercial
buildings. If you have been in Brunswick since the
1980's, you can see Brunswick has really grown.
So have we! There are now about 34 employees at
Creative Cuts. We have kept up with the pace and
I truly believe this is because we keep up with the
styles and the needs of our clients. Come check us
